Australian Dust Control installs first Dust Extraction System of its kind in Australia

In keeping with the company’s reputation for innovative product design, Australian Dust Control recently installed Australia’s newest Reverse Flow Dust Extraction Filter Unit, the ASF2 DAK, at Ashmore Joinery on Queensland’s Gold Coast. The custom built machine, utilises the finest in European technology and is the first of its kind in Australia. The filter unit holds the highest rating on the European safety standard, ATEX and the new style explosion vents mark an unrivalled development dust extraction design.

Director and co-owner of Ashmore Joinery, Lewis Gray, described the filter unit as “the best dust collector he has ever purchased and is delighted with its trouble-free performance”. Along with the new filter unit ADC installed a complete turnkey system in the new Gold Coast factory, including a 55kW fan coupled with a variable speed drive to control suction levels and optimise power usage.

On the installation, Lewis praises ADC’s efficient, reliable service; “Within a week ADC had set up our new dust extraction system in preparation for our factory relocation. We couldn’t be happier with their service, and look forward to many years of trouble-free operation”.
